The Widespan Greenhouse from Hedafor, a group company associated with Deforche Construction Group, was used to create a botanical greenhouse in Meise, Belgium. The roof of the greenhouse was designed with a custom profile system, tailored to the customer's requirements. Hedafor's horticulture department combined their expertise with the structural design of glass roofs and atria to create the optimum environment for the plants.
Climate Control
A climate computer oversees 18 different cultivation, orangery, and research departments, regulating temperature, humidity, light levels, leaf temperature, and energy radiation.

The Botanical Garden prioritizes flexible, manual plant care and the adaptability of greenhouse operations, fostering an environment for new plant growth. Additionally, the greenhouse complex includes units for perennial plant collections, plant propagation for research projects, and various technical and storage rooms.
