Vanceva gives architects and designers creative freedom by producing a broad spectrum of colors for laminated glass. The color interlayers from Vanceva can be mixed to create over 170000 transparent, translucent, or opaque colors for the desired tone and intensity. Color PVB Interlayers with Vanceva interlayers were employed in the East-Kasai apartment house, located in Tokyo, Japan.
The site is surrounded by houses, offices, and factories. Since there is no traditional or cultural feature in this cityscape, the intention was to give a lively atmosphere with three vital colors of the railing glass wall panels on the balconies.
This only 6-dwelling unit apartment house is small. The entrance hall, a semipublic buffer space between the streets and the living spaces, is two₋layer atrium. The bright colors were installed in the high entrance hall to create a sensation of dignity and richness of life for the residents.
Vanceva interlayers are created with light-stable colorants to stay vivid for a long time. Vanceva interlayers can block up to 99% of damaging UV radiation up to 380 nm, and reduce solar heat gain.
