Luce ceramic surfaces available from Fiandre, and designed by Guillermo Mariotto, is the newest project from Iris Ceramica Group. The concept behind the collection was to rethink the ceramic aesthetic. The result is a contemporary twist to the traditional ceramic surface for new architectural possibilities.
The textures and design of the Luce ceramic surface collection use light as a visual tool to create more lively spaces, revealing various forms and adding warmth to the design.
ACTIVE SURFACES®
The pearl-colored ceramic surface from the Luce collection is the symbolic color for Fiandre's ACTIVE SURFACES®, representing purity and directly speaking to the eco-friendly nature of its technology.
ACTIVE SURFACES® offers a high-performing ceramic material. The internationally patented product offers distinctive properties that are certified according to ISO standards.
ACTIVE SURFACES® materials make use of the photocatalytic properties created by combining titanium dioxide with silver. This transforms the ceramic slab into an eco-active material, thanks to the interaction of the material with light (natural or artificial) with natural humidity. The result is a material that is:
- Antibacterial
- Antiviral
- Anti-pollution
- Anti-odour
- Self-cleaning
