Hurricane Glazing – SentryGlas & Trosifol® | Kuraray

Kuraray hurricane impact glazing combines impact-resistant laminated glass with a high-strength interlayer that works to maintain the building envelope integrity. Trosifol^® hurricane glazing from Kuraray protects facades against high winds, heavy rain, and impact from windborne debris. Trosifol^® also helps increase security by containing broken glass within its frame to prevent additional debris. Hurricane impact laminated glazing is comprised of two or more lites of strengthened or annealed glass with a Trosifol^® interlayer.

• SentryGlas^® from Kuraray provides the highest level of security glazing. It has high tear resistance to prevent physical attacks, is stiffer and stronger than PVB, with a low yellowness index
• SentryGlas^® Xtra™ is an improved version of the original SentryGlas^® is made for thick constructions in projects that require higher security protection, ideal for multi-ply laminates
• Trosifol^® Clear is a PVB glass interlayer with high adhesion, available in rolls of up to 320cm in width
• Trosifol^® XT UltraClear is a PVB glass interlayer with medium adhesion, available in rolls of up to 320cm in width
