10-year warranty
The Air-Lux pivot door is an opening system with a central or lateral rotation axis that allows very large door leaves in glass and other materials. It is a fascinating alternative to conventional swing doors, especially for entrance areas with large openings.
Tightness
100% tightness is guaranteed; the opening function of the pivot doors is new, what remains is the Air-Lux air sealing system. Tightness is ensured by two circumferential, inflatable ring seals which are fully integrated into the aluminum profiles - without weak points in the corners and without frictional resistance, as is the case with systems with conventional brush seals.
Up to 15 m² Door Size
The larger the pivot door, the more impressive the effect when open. A maximum area of 15 m² (three meters wide, five meters high) is recommended. The maximum weight of Air-Lux pivot doors is approx. 1500 kg, and we install glass thicknesses of up to 60 mm. On request, pivot doors can be manufactured with alarm glass or safety glass with bullet resistance.
Versatile Materialization
Whether glass, special wood, architectural bronze, or stone: Air-Lux manufactures door leaves in all possible materials and surfaces. The core always consists of high-quality, thermally insulated aluminum profiles, which is then planked with the desired material.
Security - Mechanical and Electronic
The Air-Lux pivot doors have a total of four electromechanical locking points as well as the two pivot points, which are connected to the fixed part by ball bearings. Electronic components for monitoring the closing position and the locking of the doors enable convenient control and monitoring of the pivot door via the building services (alarm system, house control system, etc.). These can also be used with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Operation
Operation from the inside is preferably done via a pushbutton which is built into the vertical frame profile. From the outside, the operation is optionally controlled via a key switch, finger scanner or numerical code. When the pushbutton is pressed when closed, the two air seals are emptied and the locking bolts retract. A door closer built into the door profile ensures silent, independent closing. When the pushbutton is actuated in the open state, the locking bolts close the element, at the same time pumping air into the seals and sealing the element perfectly.
