Modular Skylights - Step Longlight and Step Ridgelight | VELUX Commercial

Designed to provide daylight and fresh air through the roof, VELUX Modular Skylights help create healthy, comfortable and productive indoor spaces. The modular system can be configured to a range of different skylight solutions and offers several features for climate control, ventilation, and shading.

VELUX Modular Skylights are sash-frame constructed single skylights with a high-insulating glazing unit. All individual skylights are delivered as prefabricated modules with dedicated factory finished flashings to ensure watertightness in every solution. VELUX Modular Skylights are the result of several years of research and design by VELUX and Foster + Partners.‎

Step Longlight are multiple rows of VELUX Modular Skylights installed close to each other using joint brackets between the rows. Step Ridgelight solutions consist of a Ridgelight with one or more rows of Longlights below.

Step Longlight installations are applicable for a pitch of 5-25o. Step Ridgelight installations are applicable for a pitch of 25o. Step Ridgelight on Girder installations are applicable for a pitch of 5-25o.
For all Step solutions, the same installation pitch is required on all rows, while the maximum number of rows is the height of the lower module + 15 m.
