Founded in Shanghai in 2013, genarchitects is a full-service design practice led by three principals: Fan Beilei, Kong Rui, and Xue Zhe. The practice's design work and academic research have been widely published in leading academic journals and professional media, including Architectural Journal, World Architecture, Time + Architecture, New Architecture, and Architecture China. Their work has also been featured in numerous monographs published by prestigious international publishers such as Thames & Hudson (UK), Birkhäuser (Germany), Images Publishing (Australia), and China Architecture & Building Press. weico is a high-profile, emerging design practice founded by a group of highly experienced architects. The International Competition for the Urban Design of the Core Area of Changping New Town East Zone was hosted by the People's Government of Changping District, Beijing, and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources. Located on the east bank of the Dongsha River in Changping District, Beijing, the project encompasses a 9.1-square-kilometer planning study and ecological development plan, alongside a 1.5-square-kilometer urban design for the core area. Situated north of Beijing's city center, along the canal and at the foot of Mangshan Mountain, the East Zone of Changping New Town lies on a critical axis for northern Beijing's industrial expansion and ecological network integration. In addition to accommodating the specialized industrial clusters from southern Changping, the East Zone introduces the planning concept of "Green Spectrum," leveraging urban functions and spatial-environmental resources to maximize the synergy between ecological livability and industrial positioning.

Founded in 2017, Studio 10 is an interdisciplinary design practice based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. On August 28, the Inaugural Assembly of the Performing Arts Venue Design Branch of the China Association of Performing Arts Equipment Technology and the First China Performing Arts Venue Design Summit Forum were held in Beijing. Co-organized by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University Co., Ltd. (THAD), the newly established branch is dedicated to fostering the integration of the cultural tourism, performing arts, and architectural design industries. The Fengyuzhu Metaverse Digital Art Museum is a virtual art world created by Fengyuzhu on the Baidu XiRang metaverse platform, designed for and operated for the M-generation. As part of Fengyuzhu’s metaverse cultural facility cluster, the museum is designed and developed in 3D using virtual engines. It will host top-tier digital artists from around the world, offering users an immersive space for viewing exhibitions, entertainment, and social interaction, as well as purchasing digital art collectibles. Planning for the inaugural exhibition is already underway.

The global architectural design competition for the Fengyuzhu Digital Art Museum is launching soon. The project is open to creators worldwide—including architects, programmers, gamers, and metaverse enthusiasts—with the winning proposal receiving a design fee of one million RMB. This project marks the first competition for virtual architectural design in the metaverse within China, with the goal of establishing a cultural landmark within the XiRang metaverse.

Wang Zigeng, founder and principal architect of PILLS, is an architect, artist, and curator. He is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Architecture at the School of Architecture, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). He holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. He served as the Chief Curator and Academic Committee Member of the 9th Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (UABB). He is also an Academic Committee Member of the Greater Bay Area Innovation Institute of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the Benyuan Design and Research Center of Shenzhen University. Previously, he was a visiting professor at Syracuse University, a lecturer at the Fine Arts School of Beijing Film Academy, and an open studio instructor at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. His research fields include environmental technology, architectural exhibitions, and architectural media and narrative.

The project’s open floor plan establishes a strong visual and experiential connection between the interior and the panoramic city views, complemented by staggered courtyards and warm white materials that invite a play of light and shadow into every corner of the building.
