Ideasforward aims to provide young creatives worldwide with the opportunity to express their perspectives on the future of society through innovative and visionary proposals. It is an experimental platform that seeks progressive ideas reflecting on emerging themes.

The forms of industrial construction (across all sectors, from dams, warehouses, and silos to workshops and mills), in their pursuit of economic and spatial efficiency, served as compelling formal references for architects at the dawn of the modern movement, as noted by Banham; they often inspired the design of ordinary urban buildings.

A presentation of the work of the firm Gonzalez Moix Arquitectura (Peru), featuring a conversation with its founder, Oscar Gonzalez Moix. The firm's work has been exhibited at architecture biennials in Lima, Buenos Aires, Quito, and Venice, among others. Notable accolades include awards from Peru’s National Architectural Quality Competition (2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010) and the Peruvian National Architecture Biennial (2004, 2006, 2008, 2012). A drive for experimentation and new models, combined with a deep understanding of construction, defines an architecture that bridges millennia-old tradition, modernity, and contemporary innovation—creating spaces that are sensitive to their context and welcoming to their inhabitants.

A series of short presentations followed by a discussion on various approaches to defining architectural projects based on their density, viewing this as a condition of both their physical and social contexts. This forum aims to open a dialogue on different modes of daily life and levels of communality shaped by architectural density.

LECTURE by Gabriela Carrillo, titled "Architecture: Processes"
Mexican architect, graduated with honors from the UNAM Faculty of Architecture. She develops public and private architectural projects of varying scales, as well as historical restorations, ephemeral interventions, and exhibition designs. Her work has been published and featured in national and international magazines, books, and exhibitions. She has collaborated with Mauricio Rocha since 2001, and in 2011, they partnered to form Taller |Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo|. In 2016, they designed the exhibition layout for "The Great Animal Orchestra" at the Fondation Cartier in Paris and the pavilion for Hermès at the Milan Furniture Fair. She has delivered lectures, led workshops, and taught postgraduate courses at various universities in Mexico, the United States, and several South American countries. She has received awards at the Mexican, Ibero-American, and Pan-American Architecture Biennials. In 2012, the UNAM Faculty of Architecture awarded them the Federico Mariscal Chair, the university's highest recognition for professional practice. She was a recipient of the 2014 Emerging Voices Award from The Architectural League of New York and was named "Architect of the Year 2017" by the international Architectural Review and Architects' Journal award.

This Master Class will share Leopoldo Prat Vargas's 42 years of teaching at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Chile, juxtaposing this experience with his 50 years of professional practice through architectural projects and competitions.

As part of the [+] with [-] Lecture Series organized by the Final Integrated Project Chair, and for the first time in Argentina—in alignment with our academic philosophy—we are premiering the award-winning documentary 'Doing More with Less' at UM FADAU. The film was directed by Katerina Kliwadenko (Chile, 1985) and Mario Novas (Spain, 1977) in collaboration with the Ecuadorian architecture firm Al Borde.

"Recuerdo tu nombre" is a large-scale concert held at Villa Músicos del Mundo in the San Joaquín commune of Santiago. The concert aims to strengthen the bonds between community members and their daily environment, offering an opportunity to learn about the history of an artistic discipline while advancing the development of a personal language in the construction of a musical event.

Architect Juan Ignacio Cerda, a partner at ELEMENTAL, will present the housing projects of ELEMENTAL, an architecture firm led by Alejandro Aravena and also comprising Gonzalo Arteaga, Juan Cerda, Víctor Oddó, and Diego Torres.

The School of Architecture at Universidad Finis Terrae hosts monthly "Atraviesos Urbanos" (Urban Crossings), thematic tours of Santiago led by architects. This edition, titled "Paseo Bulnes: Tracing Our Civic History," will be led by architect Andrés Echeverría.

Dichotomies of Power is an exhibition by the firm Dellekamp/Schleich, contextualized within a historical moment of change in Mexico. Part of the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño 2020 program, this exhibition invites visitors to use their interpretive skills to immerse themselves in three dimensions of the representation of power: the real, the symbolic, and the imagined.

Consulting firms are required to have a minimum technical team that enables them to meet the specified deliverables and experience parameters outlined in the Request for Expressions of Interest.

Participants are invited to design an architectural and cultural landmark to house the Barjeel collection and represent modern art, architecture, and design in the Arab world.
