Open House Brno 2024

The 7th edition of Open House Brno returns on the weekend of May 18 and 19. The festival will open doors to 116 locations across Brno, inviting visitors to explore the diverse architectural landscape of the city. In addition, the two-day event will feature musical performances, special locations to explore Brno's gastronomic scene, and an accompanying programme for families with children.

The University of Melbourne x Melbourne Design Week 2024

With a focus on sustainability, ethics and technology, this Melbourne Design Week the University will showcase the latest in design thinking and creation with a range of free public events to inspire everyone from the design-curious to the design professional.

Open House Vilnius 2024

The 10th edition of Open House Vilnius will be held on the weekend of May 18 and 19. During the festival, 70 objects will open their doors to the city's residents and visitors. The programme will feature a wide range of architectural guided tours, meetings with the city's creators, and artistic performances.

Open House Prague 2024

The jubilee tenth edition of the Open House Prague festival takes place May 13–19, 2024. While an eventful accompanying programme is prepared for the week starting on May 13, the festival will also open 115 buildings and spaces around the capital city for free on the weekend of May 18 and 19. Several buildings in the programme also offer tours in English.

Open House Lisboa 2024

The Open House Lisboa returns on the weekend of May 11 and 12, 2024, with a programme of guided tours and urban walks curated by sociologist Sandra Marques Pereira and architect Alexandre Marques Pereira.

BERLIN DESIGN WEEK 2024

From 27 April to 5 May 2024, the Peter-Behrens-Bau in Oberschöneweide will be the heart of BERLIN DESIGN WEEK 2024. Visitors can look forward to a comprehensive programme including everything from exhibitions to talks all the way to interactive workshops, all offering in-depth insights into innovative design concepts.

Open House Slovenia 2024

The architectural festival Open House Slovenia will open doors to new and renovated architectural projects, as well as important cultural heritage buildings throughout Slovenia, from April 12 to 14, marking its fifteenth year.
The purpose of the festival, throughout its years, has remained true to its basic mission—to raise awareness among the general public about the values ​​of well-designed spaces and to present examples of the best practices in contemporary architectural production as part of Slovenian culture and national identity. Through personal experiences in quality architecture, the festival enables a broader understanding of architecture and designed spaces, highlighting their importance for quality living.
Experts in the field of architecture and design, Blaž Budja, Maša Cvetko, Dean Lah, and Maja Stamenković comprised a professional jury that selected this year's festival programme from the submitted projects.
During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to explore more than 70 projects across the entire country. They will be able to visit private apartments, single-family houses, renovations, educational and cultural institutions, as well as business and tourist facilities.
In Ljubljana, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the residential neighbourhood Dolgi Most II, social housing Rakova Jelša II, community centre Golovec, and the Biotechnology Hub of the National Institute of Biology. The doors will also be open at the Nuclear Reactor Institute Jožef Stefan – TRIGA. As part of the festival, visitors will also have the opportunity to see the projects Bohinj Kindergarten and the Covering of the Remains of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Žiče Charterhouse and Temporary Lapidary, which were shortlisted for the EU Mies Award 2024.
In alignment with the Open House Europe cooperation project, the festival adopts the theme "Architecture of New Opportunities," focusing on promoting inclusivity for all individuals and interest groups within built and designed spaces. It addresses questions of equal opportunities and new possibilities for living, working, education, living, and development of the entire society, all living beings, and nature with the aim of seeking answers about coexistence that good architecture can enable, promote, and protect.
In the festival programme, various thematic projects will be highlighted, promoting accessibility and enabling community development. The festival will also feature thematic tours and workshops targeting different audience groups.
The entire programme of the Open House Slovenia 2024 festival is published on the Open House Slovenia website. Registrations for tours and guided visits are mandatory. Visitors can sign up for tours on the website from April 3, 2024, onwards.
Open House Slovenia is part of Open House Europe, a cooperation project co-funded by the European Union. Open House Athens 2024

Open House Athens, the renowned architectural event, proudly marks its 10th anniversary this year. Scheduled for Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, the festival returns with over 70 participating buildings and a number of engaging parallel activities, made possible by the sponsorship of Elvial.
As part of the Open House Europe programme, this year's edition of Open House Athens will highlight the theme of accessibility and inclusion throughout the festival.
Open House Athens offers free architectural guided tours with the goal of fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of architecture among the public. These tours provide a glimpse into the city's exceptional private and public spaces. Hundreds of devoted volunteers, sponsored by Allianz, will guide the tours throughout the festival and provide thousands of visitors with an opportunity to interact with the city and learn more about its architectural heritage.
The main event, Open Tours, features 76 buildings across Athens, showcasing a mix of public and private spaces, museums, residences, and more. Tours are free of charge and no booking is required.

Days of Architecture 2023

Days of Architecture are the biggest architectural festival in Bosnia&Herzegovina, and one of the biggest in the region of South Eastern Europe. This year's festival marks 15th edition of the Days of Architecture and first one since it became biennale two years ago.
The festival will take time in period of 15-22nd of September in Sarajevo, with curators Hubert Klumpner and Michael Walczak, and it will host many architects from Spain, UK, Norway, the Netherlands, Croatia, Montenegro, France, Germany, USA and Bosnia&Herzegovina.
Besides lectures and presentations, the Days of Architecture will host many exhibitions, panels and gatherings of architects, designers and constructors.
Very important aspect of this year's edition is the promotion of the first architectural guide of Sarajevo, published by Berlin-based DOM publishers.
