This 45-minute streaming tour describes the influences of the Art Deco style, defines its characteristics and profiles several wonderful buildings from the 1920s and 1930s and their amazing architects.

IAAC Global Summer School 2020

Tour extraordinary historic homes as Pasadena Heritage presents Wallace Neff, Master Architect.

The Dr. Allan B. Kavanel House was commissioned by Dr. Kavanel from Chicago in 1921. It incorporates fine Mediterranean details that were popular during the Golden Age of Southern California architecture.

The Morse & Gates (Mrs. Ethel Guthrie) House was commissioned in 1925 by the Morse and Gates Company, a real estate, insurance and building firm. The house is a beautifully simple Spanish Colonial revival home typical of Neff's designs.

YoungArts Campus Tours

The iconic national headquarters of National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts), formerly the Bacardi Buildings Complex, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior in 2018. YoungArts acquired the landmark tower and museum buildings in October 2012 and has since converted the buildings into the YoungArts Campus, transforming it into a multidisciplinary arts institution while preserving its beloved structures. The Developer Pitch

The Developer Collective’s inaugural Developer Pitch event will be launched on 26th February 2020 at The Building Society in central London.

The Developer Pitch, in association with The Double Unit PR, is a chance for architects, investors and developers to present their ideas and help get their project off the ground.

The event comprises seven pitches from a range of built environment professionals. Each pitcher will be given three minutes to present their idea to a panel of distinguished judges and an audience of potential partners.

The Second Russian Architecture Biennale for Young Architects Opens this Month in Kazan

Redevelopment is a process that is widespread throughout Russia, and Kazan is no exception. Kazan is developing rapidly and is raising a new generation of young, creative, and highly promising architects for the country. This is why Innopolis, Russia’s youngest and most high-tech city and a satellite of Kazan, will be hosting the Second Russian Architecture Biennale for Young Architects from October 24th to 26th, 2019. The aim of the biennale is to support young architects and draw them into the field of urban development. The concept devised by architect Sergei Tchoban, the biennale’s curator, involves giving young specialists a chance to carry out unique, contemporary projects all over Russia and to establish working relationships with local governments.
