Text description provided by the architects. People's demand for production efficiency is also increasing, mainly because of the continuous progress of social civilization, and the industrialization of construction production, standardized assembly, rapid construction and other issues have become the direction of today's real estate development and construction, which needs to be considered and practiced. At the same time, people have also criticized the inefficiency, pollution and waste brought about the cold world made of steel and concrete, which has reached an indefinite level. So why don't we focus our attention on this wooden building structure which has been developing for thousands of years in China, in order to integrate the wooden structure, modern industry and the functional needs of modern people? Based on this principle, we have followed this train of thought and accepted the challenge, thus undertaking the design and development of Rsun Group's Wood Structure Building 1.0 system.

IMPRESSION
When we began to understand the Dujiangyan, its mountains are really long and steep, as well as it also bears a heavy history of thousands of years; The winding blue water makes the land of Western Sichuan more full of vitality. Li Bing and his son had provided their wisdom and sweat here more than 2,000 years ago, which ensured the successful irrigation of 3 million mu of good farmland and made this heavenly land a success. Thus Dujiangyan was chosen as the pilot project of this research and development, which is really like a fate arrangement.

SHAPE
Whenever we enthusiastically envision this land and its unique atmosphere, reality will properly bring us back to the need to weigh these provability. At the same time, in the face of such a grand geographical, historical and cultural background, as well as to meet the requirements of modern industry, rapid processing, construction and high degree of replication of the building, thus how can we solve this problem? Therefore, the designer thinks that the main building of the exhibition area in Dujiangfu——the Sales Exhibition Center, should be embedded in this place in a very simple, modest and gentle manner. So we thought of drawing lessons from the form of Western Sichuan residential settlements. Double Slope Top - This is one of the most common and simplest architectural forms in the world. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the pioneer of modernist architecture, has put forward the benighted phrase "less is more" in the United States, which is really an expression of the design philosophy of modern minimalism: "less" is not blank but simplified, and "more" is not crowded but perfect. Common is to represent identity, and simple is to represent deep! So we choose this form, as well as it's also a bold attempt to de-symbolize it with great intention.

SKYLIGHT
When we turn to the history of world architecture, we can find that the Roman Empire's Puma Agrippa led the construction of the Pantheon in 27 B.C. in order to worship the gods on Mount Olympia. In the center of the great dome of the temple is a circular skylight with a diameter of 9 meters, which can focus everyone's eyes on it, and this is the only outlet for people to talk with the gods. At that time, the temple really resembled a container, along with the skylight was the only container opening. Under the skylight, there were devout beings, and above the skylight, there was a vast world of gods.

Pantheon

Under the very large log-colored eaves, a shuttle of skylights crosses the entrance and receives over the water bar. So at this time, architecture is also a container. When people look up at the skylight, they are like the beings under the skylight of the Pantheon Temple. They may think about it, perhaps enjoying the quiet sunshine in a reclining chair in the afternoon, or the warmth of their childhood and family talking at night around the fireplace. Let's forget the noise of the world, and the good memories will only be here to recall, jumping over time and space——so this building is a container across time and space.

FUNCTION
In the layout of building functions, we compress the small-scale space such as sales control, finance, toilet and logistics into the L-shaped appendage on the northeast side of the main building, in order to form a single and large-scale display space inside the main building. Moreover, such a plane function distribution can not only make the main building obtain the maximum plane freedom, but also adapt to the functional requirements of the pre-sale display. At the same time, it can also maximize the setting of glass curtain wall, so that the most perfect interaction is existed between the interior of the main building and the courtyard landscape. Meanwhile, an outdoor platform with a maximum width of 8 meters is set up on the entrance and the side facing the courtyard, thus forming a very wrapped grey space, which can further extend the main space.

three kinds of space

Our design is to control the height difference between the wooden platform and the landscape courtyard height to 600 mm, so that people can sit on the wooden platform, and the legs can swing freely. The height of the eaves and the height of the eaves are all controlled at 4 meters, which fully takes into account the comfort of the space scale when people stay under the eaves of the corridor, and also ensures that the indoor people can pass through the glass curtain wall, so that the distant view is blocked by trees, without being disturbed by adjacent construction sites.

STRUCTURE
In such a simple and pure architectural form, it is an extremely exquisite internal structure. And how to design the structure is also the biggest challenge that an architect encounters in this design: how to design delicately, how to achieve reasonable force, how to improve the standardization level through design, assemble and disassemble, convenient transportation and other topics need to be tackled one by one.

Therefore, after exploring a large number of case studies and structural knowledge, as well as through the attempt of structural schemes of different systems, such as string structure and beam-column integration, nine groups of composite frame structures in symmetrical form are finally determined, which can be found through verification, in order to ensure the standardization. The largest number of components, along with the size of a single component is relatively moderate, but also easy to transport and hoist. At the same time, by combining the curved edge beams on both sides of shuttle skylight, different lengths of timber diagonal braces can be used inside the building to form beautiful rhythmic changes.

In terms of style characteristics, wood structural materials are reflecting the humanistic characteristics, in light of corresponding with the characteristics of modern urban architecture. The original attributes of natural materials can also make the building have a special affinity, thus eliminating the cold feeling of the building itself as a foreign object.

CONSTRUCTION
Behind the concise and delicate form, any building can not complete without careful polishing of the structural details. However, the high degree of completeness of the building can not be separated from the design stage, the in-depth verification of various rationalizes and the cooperation between the whole profession.
