The real estate speculation, the inconsistencies within the territorial laws, along with the constant changes in land use regulations, have reduced the housing supply in Mexico City ́s popular neighborhoods down to repetitive experiments (tests) of minimum housing area, where, in terms of quality, space and living conditions, “less is less”.
