Text description provided by the architects. The building is located in the historical district of Vilaflor, the birthplace of Santo Hermano Pedro in the seventeenth century, whose Order of Bethlemitas Sisters is responsible for the future management of the school.

It is dedicated to a small school with three units, its form evokes the archetypal image of the house in the drawings of children. A pure geometry easy to interpret.

The volume is broken into two parts connected by a walkway, creating a courtyard that connects the upper floors with the basement playground, favoring the integration of the building into an urban fabric in which small traditional buildings abound, with which the project establishes a dialogue about scale.

Outside, a white ceramic skin designed in the shape of a ventilated facade has great energy efficiency with respect to the rigors of local climate. It wraps around the entire building further simplifying the perception of the volumes.

Inside, the spaces are neutral and diaphanous, awaiting for the colorful environments of children to conclude the project.
