The American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) have selected nine projects for the 2014 Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture. Recognized as some of the most “outstanding building interiors created by architects licensed in the United States,” these  projects will be honored at the AIA 2014 National Convention and Design Exposition in Chicago.

The restaurant is designed to complement the menu sourced from local sustainable farms and gardens through texture and durable, repurposed materials.

The Pierre / Olson Kundig Architects

Portions of the rock outcropping were excavated and reused as crushed aggregate in the flooring and carport eliminating significant costs in having to haul waste from the site.
