Text description provided by the architects. This small intervention, in the middle of a banana plantation, is inspired by the particular environmental conditions to respond to an elementary program. This construction, vibrated concrete blocks embedded in one of the greenhouses, required special treatment for it´s purpose as a  flexible space destined to a variety of events. Therefore, the promoters proposed us to qualify an unfinished building on a site with spectacular scenic values.

Inspired by the natural configuration of the banana tree, we dressed the lounge with  a skin of overlapping planks, and its lecture is closer to abstraction than to rural architecture.

As a counterpoint, the inside is lined with a shiny texture: like a little gem, a continuous veil green polycarbonated backlit , gives a playful profile at the same time that, with a single opening facing the cultivated landscape, the space is spread proposing site with a double reading experience: it is a simple, elemental, agriculture, and at the same time, a contemporary space designed for elegant events.
