Think Brick Awards for 2011 Call for Entries

The Horbury Hunt Award recognises excellence and innovation in built projects. Also recognising the collaboration of a project team to deliver architectural outcomes. The Award rewards innovation and craftsmanship in brickwork and recognises the contribution of all parties in that process. The Horbury Hunt Awards includes commercial as well as residential and landscape built projects.

Entries are now open for the Think Brick Awards for 2011. In addition to the Horbury Hunt Award, the About Face 2011 invitation-only design competition asks innovative Australian architects to present original ways of using brick in a contemporary environment, and About Face Student Award is a conceptual design competition for Australian architectural students.

Think Brick Australia represents the Australian brick industry and is committed to bringing together architects, builders, and bricklayers to ensure clay brick construction remains at the forefront of modern design for many years to come. More information on the award’s official website.
