Text description provided by the architects. A clearing in the middle of the high forest, a sliver of the sea in the distance. Something already complete, established as a place, sedimented. Nothing left to do but install a large bench and contemplate what has been offered to the eye through the centuries: the Brazilian forest of the Count of Clarac, of Rugendas, the discovery, the inaugural gaze. It seemed impossible to insert anything that would not break the spell. Perhaps something that would merely perch and, moments later, disappear into the intense green of the forest: just a dot, like birds are seen, here, there.
