Text description provided by the architects. In tribute to the master architect Rogelio Salmona, the Bogotá mayor's office decided to name this new educational infrastructure after him. The school is organized around interconnected classroom clusters that form small learning communities. The design seeks to dissolve the boundaries of the classroom by integrating and expanding it in all directions: toward the corridors, courtyards, or other classrooms. This achieves a multidirectional spatial integration that allows pedagogical activities to extend outside the classroom and fosters collaborative work.
