Text description provided by the architects. The design for the NOMAD building — located at 194 Jurucê Avenue, in the Indianópolis neighborhood of São Paulo — is a renovation project involving a change of use. The original building was constructed for commercial use during the 1980s. It was part of the transformation process of that neighborhood, marked by a wave of real estate investments that replaced single-family homes with vertical buildings, mostly for residential use, and transformed the urban character of that region of the city.
