In 2014, the city of Santos implemented a public policy of restorative pacification focused on a Culture of Peace and Dialogue, carried out through the Municipal Department of Education. Decree No. 6,935 and Ordinance No. 173/2013 of October 17, 2014, created by the City Hall of Santos, established and appointed a Management Commission for the implementation and monitoring of the Restorative Justice Program, aiming to turn Santos into an Educating-Restorative City.
