Text description provided by the architects. The house is located in Porto Alegre, in Tristeza, a traditional neighborhood in the southern part of the city. The owners, who are from Rio de Janeiro, chose to live in an area that would bring a bit of their hometown's characteristics, with proximity to the river being a decisive factor in this choice. The design of the space sought to capture a bit of the Rio de Janeiro way of living. A more relaxed decor, punctuated by pieces from prominent Brazilian designers, sets the tone for the project.
