Text description provided by the architects.
The brief was developed by four siblings who wanted to gift their mother with a new home. The house would be used by these four siblings and their respective families as well. The idea came about when, for security reasons, they decided to sell an old country house where the family used to gather. Therefore, the four siblings and their families decided to buy a plot of land in Quinta da Baroneza to build a home that would be used by everyone and would also serve as a gift for their mother.
