Designed as a family summer retreat, Casa do Sol is located in a mountainous region in the city of Triunfo, considered the highest area of the state of Pernambuco. The terrain, positioned in a southeast-northwest direction, has a front of 20 meters and a depth of about 87 meters that allowed the construction of the main building in a central position, making the most of the local view. The place is surrounded by a lush landscape, which has been utilized by the architecture project, standing out the sunrise between the mountains and the sertão valley. The built area, approximately 454.47 m², is divided into blocks, all on the ground floor. The main house has porches on the front and back facades, creating spaces to welcome residents and guests. In response to the clients' will to recall childhood memories, the proposal resembles a typical Brazilian sertão house, with an exposed roof on the main facade and defined by wide porches.
