The project is the result of a competition won in 2001 for a new theater in the city center of Fribourg. The project will be completed at the end of 2011 and its auditorium is going to provide 700 seats for spectators.

Swiss contemporary architecture week

From april 18 to april 26, 2009, Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects (SIA) organizes the Contemporary Architecture Week. All along the week, to more than 100 contemporary buildings will be organized and led by each building’s author. In the same days, a series of conferences will be held in Geneva, Lausanne, Fribourg and Bern.
