Text description provided by the architects. Each of these concepts characterizes past eras: the individual house and working class bar.

We propose new urban forms by projecting a group of houses raised to a level above the ground around a shared space.

Located upstairs, the level of distribution takes the form of a garden shared visual continuity and a direct relationship with urban space through a soft path (ramp landscaped). From both sides of this garden are juxtaposed with housing that weave the latter a true relationship of use. The character detached and suspended from the garden makes it a safe and secure space for children, along with a sunny garden simply related to its height. It is a shared space where people can come play neighborly relations: a place to which the project is identified.

The project proposes to provide these provisions in the qualities of individual housing while providing a collective image. The idea to establish "houses" on a base consisting of common services (access, lobby, parking, rooms), shops, ensures this building its urban character, first through the relationship the ground floor in the heart of the other through the overall gauge of construction inherent in this provision.

The collective organization of the building as we propose allows to minimize the cost of common areas (lobby heated stairwell, elevator ,...) and transfer the budget for landscaping that will provide quality the project a true value.

Recyclable natural materials and light

Meanwhile, research from typological thinking related to low consumption and especially the willingness to offer all the accommodations the best possible exposure have yielded unique and volumetric responses appropriate program.

This set of volumes based on the typological sequence based on work of implementing the following two wooden vetures typology: the first from a series of blades of different widths, the second following a principle of cladding perforated blade oriented oblique hints at a rain-stained membrane.

The treatment of private outdoor spaces and residential is designed as an extension of the ground station architecture. The stairways and ramps will be made in asphalt and concrete swept to facilitate the movement of disabled people. All non-private outdoor spaces will be planted with vegetation shaved, persistent and does not require maintenance for forcing the lessor.

The quality of ambient lighting at night is also a concern, pursued through the systematic selection of architecturally integrated lighting and non-insulated terminals or masts.

Design Principles

Create a public housing which would change the image of the neighborhood is ambitious but achievable when these homes are not an enclave within the district but a reminder punctual.

However, turning the image of the district that we propose is based on new principles of relations on the street.

Thus, we propose to make homes that go through typologies specific to their environment (exposure, common ownership, proximity, density), create the revival of the neighborhood.
