The Theatre Populaire Idea(l) is an open student competition of architectural, artistic and design ideas for the sustainable rehabilitation of deserted green amphitheater at the complex of the “Centre de Développement Chorégraphique” La Termitiere in the city center of Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso. The emphasis is placed on innovative, respectful, courageous visions valorizing the local potentials and materials.

In 2019 an estimated 2,188 spaces were opened worldwide with projections set for more than 20,000 in 2020 and 25,968 by 2022, rather than catering only to small business, large corporations like Amazon, AirBnB, and Google also make use of these for meetings and events. On the other hand structures such as googleplex and apple park exist as buildings with a footprint of 260,000 square meter which house more than 12,000 employees.

This 12 day design and construction workshop at the AA School in London, teaches a design process which synthesises computational design tools and materials with natural variability such as bamboo, informed though first-hand experience of the material and 1:1 scale bamboo construction.
The Traditional Architecture Summer School will take place on Pico Island, Azores, Portugal, from July 12 to 25, 2021. Traditional construction, architecture, and urbanism will be studied to produce a catalog for the conservation and new traditional construction in the area. Hand drawing and data collection will be the primary daily activities. Experts in vernacular architecture and construction will give lectures on various related topics. Trips around the island and site visits will be conducted. During the final days, improvement proposals for various local public spaces will be designed, utilizing the previously conducted study.
We are officially launching the 3rd edition of the Bamboo Experience Camp - Peru 2020, an international training workshop where we will construct a module using earth and local, native, and introduced bamboo species—Chusquea dombeyana and Dendrocalamus asper—in the city of Tarma, Peru.

The exhibition Minimalism, Post-minimalism and Conceptualism / 60s - 70s opened to the public on July 6 at the Fundación Proa galleries. Curated by Katharine J. Wright, the exhibition brings together works by various artists such as Dan Flavin, Sol LeWitt, Fred Sandback, and Bruce Nauman. As part of this exhibition, a unique installation by Dan Graham was unveiled last Wednesday in the public space in front of the museum.
