Youth Architecture Festival

For the second year running, the ambitious architecture festival takes place in the center of Russia, in Siberia, Krasnoyarsk. Teams from different parts of the country will be competing with each other in building the best installation.

Festival is open for each desiring, not only for professional architects and students. We strongly believe that everybody should participate in the forming of a new environment. All installations are temporary, and the festival environment is an experiment that should transform the space-filling it with activities and experiences.

Last year the festival took place in a small unknown even by locals “Unnatow” park that was nearly abandoned. But after Youth Architecture Festival citizens got a sense of ownership to continue upgrading of the park and this place was revitalized. Being inspired by our success we decided to repeat the festival.

The purpose of this year is “Kamenka” park and this location is more difficult because it is popular in the city and has formed infrastructure. In our experiment, we are trying to supplement and improve the space. The result we will know at the 3rd of August after work completing. On this day all visitors can see all installations and graffiti show, listen life music, lectures, take part in workshops and entertainment program.

Our goal is to give each visitor new emotions and impressions and to make every participant experience city throw real practice, having fun in an architecture party, in Youth Architecture Festival.
