Architecture Dialogues.

Architectural thought and positions, as well as those of related disciplines, must reach diverse latitudes, just as they move from media platforms to mobile devices. It is essential to hear in person from emerging or established figures who define positions on architectural practice or the role of art in their work.

Book launch: Domesticity, Gender, and Material Culture.

The Architects' Union of the State of São Paulo (SASP) is hosting a debate titled "Harassment in the Workplace" on Thursday, May 3. The event marks the launch of the Worker Health Working Group (GTST) and the start of the "Architects Against Harassment" campaign, launched in partnership with the SASP Women in Architecture Working Group (GTMA).

The Institute of Architects of Brazil – São Paulo Department (IABsp) is issuing an OPEN PUBLIC CALL for expressions of interest to join a multidisciplinary Working Group responsible for leading the development process of the "Educational Territories" project – Module I, in partnership with the São Paulo State Department of Education.

On May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Brazilian Association of Architecture Firms (AsBEA) will host the "AsBEA Seminar – Master Your Future: New Tools, Corporate and Organizational Changes" at the FAAP Convention Center in Higienópolis, São Paulo. The event invites reflection on the structural changes currently unfolding due to new forms of social interaction enabled by the availability of various technologies. Against this backdrop, the returns on scale and speed are remarkable; we must adapt to this dynamic by understanding the challenges involved in order to capitalize on the opportunities that arise.

The Fast Wood Festival is an association of architecture, engineering, and design professionals and students that hosts workshops throughout the year, culminating in an itinerant festival. Held during the summer months, it brings together around 80 wood enthusiasts with the primary goal of constructing a project using this material, while also enjoying the experience and expanding their knowledge.

The Instagram photography competition for the XIV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (XIV BEAU) is now open. The event is curated by José Morales and Sara de Giles, with Jesús Marina and Elena Morón serving as directors of photography activities.

The Dallas Architecture Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing public education about architecture, design, public space and the urban environment, completes its 2025-2026 Panel Discussion Series on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The Forum is pleased to present the Panel Discussion Halperin Park – Southern Gateway Deck Park. The panel will be held at the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station. This program is FREE to the Public – There is no admission charge. Check-in and pre-Lecture Reception will begin at 6:15 pm in the lobby of the Angelika. The Panel will begin at 7:00 pm.

The Dallas Architecture Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing public education about architecture, design, public space and the urban environment, continues its 2025-2026 Lecture Series with The Rose Family Lecture on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The Forum is pleased to present 2025 AIA Gold Medal winner Deborah Berke, Founding Principal of TenBerke Architects and Dean of the Yale School of Architecture.
