Architects traditionally work in urban regions where economic and population growth drive demand, often leaving remote and rural areas neglected by the design professions.

This edition of the Bauhaus Wednesday cycle at the Leopoldo Rother Architecture Museum (MALR) presents the lecture "Modular Typography," led by Sebastián Castellanos and Jason Guzmán of BastardaType.

Women4Climate is a global movement that addresses climate change through the empowerment of women. It aims to inspire leaders, influence decisions, promote innovation, and raise awareness regarding critical urban issues, while encouraging research and action at the intersection of gender, cities, and climate change. While this phenomenon is gaining momentum in developed countries, female leadership in climate action has yet to take center stage in discussions on urban resilience in developing nations.

The Brazilian Association of Landscape Architects (ABAP) was awarded a grant last December through a CAU-SP public call to host an international congress titled "Landscape and Art." The event focuses on the themes of representation and landscape, as well as key figures and their work. We have brought together highly regarded researchers and professionals, and our goal is to explore the intersections of painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, and design, reaffirming the aesthetic and complex dimension of the landscape.

The 14th Bolivian Architecture Biennial will be held in the city of La Paz from November 18 to 22, 2019. The event will feature architectural exhibitions highlighting the trajectory and contributions to Bolivian architecture, keynote lectures by renowned national and international guests, and architectural production competitions.

For the fourteenth edition of the "Con Lo Que Hay" (With What We Have) Workshop (PUCE-FADA), we invite you to learn by doing as we construct the San Francisco de Miravalle Bajo de Guápulo Community Center. MOVE CINE ARTE is an international film festival of Brazilian origin dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of art films and films about art. It fills a void by providing a dedicated space for the screening and discussion of films that focus on other artistic disciplines, thereby broadening the audience for various forms of creative expression.

The 2nd International Seminar brings together leading experts from Brazil and around the world to discuss the challenges related to the adoption of BIM, the most significant technological revolution in architecture and engineering in recent decades. This edition highlights topics such as object libraries, standardization, software market normalization, Industry 4.0, and facilities management. The international design competition seeks to shape the new central space in Sant Feliu, Barcelona. The goal is to solicit urban proposals for the space that will be freed up once the railway tracks are placed underground. Sant Feliu must leverage this urban project as a catalyst for the city's transformation.

The "Pedestrian Networks" competition seeks to promote a connected Antofagasta. The initiative invites participants to connect the city and develop pedestrian solutions to bring neighborhoods closer together, strengthening the hill-to-sea connection and promoting accessibility to the coastline.

Since 1927, the most visited park in South America has undergone various projects, culminating in its completion for the 4th centennial of São Paulo. Following a participatory process with users and local residents, the city government has begun planning for the next decade. With this in mind, the 033 ideas competition hosted by Portal Projetar centers on the following question: “How can we make Ibirapuera Park better for daily users and occasional visitors?”
