Competition for the creation of the Fábrica de Restauro manifesto brand
The Fábrica de Restauro Laboratory is a collaborative social mobilization project aimed at discussing historical, tangible, and intangible heritage. The proposal of the LAB Fábrica de Restauro is to train professionals from all fields—including painters, masons, carpenters, locksmiths, and architects—to provide restoration services and to engage the community in the effort to conserve these spaces.
LECTURE by Gabriela Carrillo, titled "Architecture: Processes" Mexican architect, graduated with honors from the UNAM Faculty of Architecture. She develops public and private architectural projects of varying scales, as well as historical restorations, ephemeral interventions, and exhibition designs. Her work has been published and featured in national and international magazines, books, and exhibitions. She has collaborated with Mauricio Rocha since 2001, and in 2011, they partnered to form Taller |Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo|. In 2016, they designed the exhibition layout for "The Great Animal Orchestra" at the Fondation Cartier in Paris and the pavilion for Hermès at the Milan Furniture Fair. She has delivered lectures, led workshops, and taught postgraduate courses at various universities in Mexico, the United States, and several South American countries. She has received awards at the Mexican, Ibero-American, and Pan-American Architecture Biennials. In 2012, the UNAM Faculty of Architecture awarded them the Federico Mariscal Chair, the university's highest recognition for professional practice. She was a recipient of the 2014 Emerging Voices Award from The Architectural League of New York and was named "Architect of the Year 2017" by the international Architectural Review and Architects' Journal award.
The TRANSFER Architecture Video Award is an independent award, to be launched in 2019, to recognise the most creative and innovative short films in the field of architecture, city and landscape worldwide.
Video is becoming increasingly instrumental in analysing architecture and the human environment, and is directly related to the digital networks that underpin contemporary communication.
The Fundació Mies van der Rohe, together with BOZAR and UNINA, promotes the European project Artists in Architecture. Re-activating Modern European Houses. An initiative that aims to promote collaboration between artists, architects, students, professionals in the field of heritage and the public in general and at the same time opens an intergenerational and interdisciplinary dialogue that helps to define a contemporary vision and the future approach to conservation, restoration and reuse of a heritage as delicate and at risk as the single-family home.
The School of Architecture at Universidad Finis Terrae hosts monthly "Atraviesos Urbanos" (Urban Crossings), thematic tours of Santiago led by architects. This edition, titled "Paseo Bulnes: Tracing Our Civic History," will be led by architect Andrés Echeverría.

The rapidly expanding urban context and real estate development activities in Turkey in the 21st century generated a series of important public buildings for culture, education, sports and public space with distinctive and exemplary architecture. This architecture is the focus of an exhibition entitled “New Publics: Contemporary Architecture and the Public Sphere in Turkey” to take place at the Arch Moscow 2019 XXIV International Exhibition of Architecture and Design to be held from 15 to 19 of May, 2019 at the exhibition hall “Manege”, on Manege Square in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Union of Architecture Students (UEPA) and the Faculty of Architecture at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (FAUAS), organized by EventPlus, will host their traditional "PERSPECTIVA" congress for the sixth consecutive year. This year's edition, titled "Space and Society," aims to center the discussion on emblematic topics within society and the construction field. The goal is to raise awareness regarding the importance of both interior and exterior spaces, fostering culture and social responsibility.

Registration for subject-specific courses is open until 1 May 2019. ARCHsharing proposes, in partnership with the humanitarian association TECHO Haiti, the construction of a rural school for the TE NWA community, north of Port-au-Prince. The project will have to meet many social, constructive and economic challenges while proposing solutions that improve educational conditions. The school will include 7 levels of classes and will benefit more than 50 children in the community.

The course aims to introduce participants to theatrical architecture and its interdisciplinary context through an introduction to the history of global scenic architecture, exploring the languages that directly influenced the architecture and theatrical practice of Teat(r)o Oficina.

This pioneering initiative, organized by Casa das Rosas, Centro Cultural Fiesp, IMS Paulista, Itaú Cultural, JAPAN HOUSE São Paulo, MASP, and now Sesc Avenida Paulista—which joins the team for this edition—encompasses activities focused on theater, music, visual arts, dance, literature, photography, and gastronomy, as well as cinema.
