On Monday, October 24, at 7:00 PM, the book Arquitetura da CARPE by architect Geraldo Angelo Silva will be launched. The book presents a wealth of previously unpublished material on the history of CARPE.

Book launch: "Bienal de São Paulo since 1951"

The Fundação Bienal will launch the essay collection Bienal de São Paulo desde 1951 on March 31 at the Ciccillo Mattarazzo Pavilion. This publication commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Bienal de São Paulo, reached in 2021, and the 60th anniversary of the Fundação Bienal, celebrated this year. Participation is free and open to the public.

The initiative aims to open the historic Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion—designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and located within Ibirapuera Park—to the public, while offering free programming including dance workshops, children's activities, guided tours, and open discussions.

The 74th edition of the Revista da Biblioteca Mário de Andrade features twelve articles analyzing the contemporary state of libraries. Launched in 1943 as the Boletim Bibliográfico da Biblioteca Municipal de São Paulo, it has been published as the Revista da Biblioteca Mário de Andrade since 1992. With the theme "The Library and the City," this issue was guest-edited by Francesco Perrotta-Bosch, biographer of Lina Bo Bardi.

A conversation between architect Guillermo Acuña and master stonemason and historian Rolando Abarca will be part of a new session of "Diálogos Aislados" (Isolated Dialogues), a series organized by the School of Architecture at Universidad Finis Terrae. The series began during the pandemic to foster discussion on various topics, debates, and new ideas through multidisciplinary online dialogue.
