Under the title "Habitación" and as part of the Architectural Culture Lecture Series [CCCA] at the EA USS, architects Cristián Izquierdo and Emilio Marín will discuss program and residential architecture, considering contemporary commissions and ways of living. On this occasion, the guests will present the Morrillos House and the LF35 residential building, respectively. The panel will be moderated by Ernesto Silva, a USS faculty member and director of the EA Santiago campus.
The theme for the 2018 autumn edition of the series is "Program." Although it is almost always taken for granted, both the definition of this word and its impact on a project can encompass countless interpretations and variations. This edition of the Architectural Culture Lecture Series [CCCA] explores various practices and projects through this lens, aiming to reflect their overlooked complexity.
