This year marks the sixtieth anniversary of the Casa en Jean Mermoz, a cornerstone of Chilean residential architecture, built on Jean Mermoz Street in the Las Condes district and demolished in 1992. Its architect, Fabio Cruz Prieto, pioneered a highly distinctive approach to conceiving, designing, and constructing architecture, in which every part and stage of the work was simultaneously autonomous and complementary.
Portobello is launching the second edition of Mostra Unlimited on March 23, concurrently with Expo Revestir. The exhibition features spaces designed by prominent figures in architecture and design across Brazil. This year, the installations will be hosted in 10 Portobello Shop locations in Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, São Paulo, Tijucas, Brasília, Ribeirão Preto, Maceió, and Recife.
