The Segovia Architects' Association aims to introduce construction professionals, developers, and public administrations involved in the building process to more sustainable architecture. Furthermore, we seek to promote new concepts for living, designing, constructing, and rehabilitating buildings and urban environments that are more sustainable, efficient, clean, innovative, green, healthy, comfortable, renewable, and environmentally friendly.

Throughout this Spanish spring, meetings to discuss pedagogy and education are taking place almost every Monday. This series of Edumeet sessions alternates between guest speakers and authors presenting papers and experiences from the conference itself.
Modern architecture in Mexico can be understood through its diverse facets. This course aims to study and discuss, through theoretical and expository lectures, the work of four major architects of this period in Mexico: Juan O'Gorman (1905–1982), Luis Barragán (1902–1988), Mario Pani (1911–1993), and Félix Candela (1910–1997). The sessions will address the historical, political, and cultural contexts of Mexico during this era, while also drawing parallels with the work of Le Corbusier and other artists such as José Clemente Orozco, Mathias Goeritz, and Jesús “Chucho” Reyes. In this way, the course seeks to understand not only the discourse and practice of these architects but also the very construction of Modern Architecture in Mexico.

As part of the curatorial cycle "Preparing the cohabitation of plants, animals and people," barco galería invites you to tune into the series of conversations accompanying the installation "A Thicket and a Palm at a Street," conceived in collaboration with the Berlin-based practice Something Fantastic. The series consists of four meetings that expand on the questions raised by the installation, connecting them to broader issues.
Following an incredible response to the first Virtual World Tour during the peak of the pandemic between late 2020 and early 2021, the organization Architects, not Architecture has decided to continue its global digital approach to connecting the architectural community. From October to December 2021, AnA will host events featuring prominent figures in global architecture.
This year, the tour will visit Hong Kong, Brazil, Japan, the United States, and Turkey. In each location, two architects will be invited to share their personal stories and the events that have shaped their careers. On October 27, the tour stops in São Paulo, featuring Marcio Kogan and Cristiane Muniz.
This theme will be addressed in five meetings throughout this semester, aimed at the production and improvement of entries in the digital encyclopedia. The Agroecological Construction Course - Self-Managed School Site at the Rosa Luxemburgo Popular School, promoted by Peabiru TCA and the Landless Workers' Movement (MST) in partnership with the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of São Paulo (CAU/SP), seeks to address key issues surrounding popular housing in rural areas, while promoting discussions on agroecological materials and construction techniques within this context.
IED Rio is offering four free online classes this September, corresponding to four full online courses scheduled for the second semester. These sessions serve as a lead-up to the launch of in-person courses in 2022. The classes—covering lighting design, style generation, the role of the physical store in a post-pandemic landscape, and visual thinking for business—will be led by industry-leading designers, including Diana Joels, Michela Mezzavilla (Spain), Rafo Castro, Carolina Baltar, and Rafael Andrade.
