MA Awards 2023: Spotlighting the work of women architects in Chile

The second edition of the "MA Awards 2023" seeks to promote and highlight the work of contemporary women architects in Chile. To this end, there are two award categories: Emerging and Established. Both categories aim to identify and value architectural production in areas such as housing, public architecture, urbanism, landscape, and others. The awards seek to promote built works throughout Chile developed by women architects, thereby increasing the visibility of architecture within our territory and showcasing its diversity.

Librería Nacional opens applications for “Arte en Vivo,” a historic showcase for national artists

Nearly 5 million pesos in prize money will be awarded in the 31st edition of the “Arte en Vivo” competition, established by Librería Nacional. The initiative aims to promote visual arts in Chile, support emerging artists, and advance their careers by opening up creative processes, revealing working methodologies, and creating a kind of open studio where the public can observe the creation of the selected works in real time.

Competition for the “Vulnerable Habitats” exhibition at the XXII Chile Architecture and Urbanism Biennial

Applications opened yesterday, Thursday, September 29, for the competition of ideas for the exhibition to be presented at the XXII Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Chile, co-organized by the Association of Architects of Chile and the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage. The call for entries will remain open from September 29 through October 24, 2022, with the event scheduled to take place between December 2022 and January 2023.

CENTROmx, with the support of INDAJO and the Government of Tlajomulco, announces the 2018 Mictlán Pavilion Competition.
