Africatown Plaza is a community-oriented mixed‑use development combining retail, office, and public gathering spaces. The project features bold façade treatments, generous outdoor seating, and a design language rooted in cultural engagement and urban vitality. Emphasis was placed on creating inviting retail frontages and shaded communal zones that frame pedestrian circulation and foster a vibrant streetscape.
At Africatown Plaza, BŌK Modern’s sunshade modules and screen assemblies were tailored to the facade elevations above storefronts and outdoor seating areas. These elements deliver effective solar shading while adding layered texture and architectural rhythm to the building envelope. Prefabrication and precise installation templates facilitated streamlined on‑site construction, yielding a cohesive and refined appearance across the project.
