Tejas Borja is a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of ceramic roof tiles. Sourcing clay from Mediterranean quarries for over five decades, their products combine tradition, research and leading design for seamless integration into contemporary projects with cutting-edge technology.
A classic material for sloping roofs, curved roof tiles by Tejas Borja are produced via an extrusion process, available in a range of sizes that lets them adapt to any construction purposes. The same pieces are used to create pans, covers, and joints of the tile. Their design allows for different levels of overlap between roof tiles.
C-50x21 Celler®
Curved roof tile with smooth curvature profile of 50 cm in length and 21 cm wide, which forms a gutter profile roof; its design allows different overlap measures between the parts. The edges tend to be convergent, resulting in a wide end and another narrow end to facilitate the assembly of pans and covers with the same format.
To ensure their optimal installation, C-50.21 Celler® roof tiles should be installed using the Step 50/45 as a pan and should be fixed to a support previously prepared with a double batten layout. Curved roof tiles can also be dry installed on an under-tile Corrugated bitumen sheet or Fiber cement sheets.
