A-Light is a manufacturer of high-performance architectural luminaires designed to elevate contemporary spaces with visual precision and minimal forms.

A-Light’s Atlas and Relay acoustic luminaires are prominently featured in the new Davis & Associates office and showroom, located in Eagan, Minnesota, USA. The project, led by BDH Design, was conceived to re-engage employees post-pandemic while serving as an immersive product showcase for the lighting agency’s clients and collaborators.

Situated near the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, the award-winning interior reflects a dual design intent: to generate an inspiring, collaborative work environment and to display lighting products in innovative, real-world applications.

A-Light’s Atlas luminaires are arranged in a dynamic pattern across the ceiling of the open office zone, blending pendant and ceiling-mount versions in both standard and acoustic formats. Varied suspension points and overlapping configurations allow the fixtures to serve both visual and acoustic functions, creating a balanced lighting scheme while dampening ambient sound in a space with relatively low ceilings.

A-Light’s Relay acoustic luminaires are suspended above workstations used by the marketing, IT, and project management teams. Charcoal and deep teal green acoustic panels complement Davis' brand identity while addressing nearby mechanical noise. The unique hexagonal shapes were purposefully overlapped to maximize visual interest and sound absorption.

The space now functions not only as a productive office, but also as a sought-after venue for client tours, events, and architectural demonstrations. Since its completion in 2022, the Davis & Associates showroom has received widespread recognition, including a 2023 Top Project award from Finance & Commerce and an Interior Design Award from the Minnesota Real Estate Journal.
