Frozon, a group company associated with Deforche Construction Group collaborates with developers who advocate for the use of integrated architectural glass roof structures within urban environments. This collaboration aims to create innovative, well-lit spaces that connect people with nature. Alongside the surge in the use of aluminum skylights, saw-tooth roofs, and steel skylights, Forzon offers a range of designs for various applications that meet fire-resistant standards. With their expertise, Forzon provides both products and project assistance, tailoring solutions that align with each requirement.
Built Examples include Bank van de Arbeid, BNP Paribas Leuven, and Cinquantenaire Brussels Museum
Products
- Aluminum skylight
The aluminum skylight is able to create perfect light exposure, offering optimal natural light distribution. The skylights are produced and assembled in-house ensuring high-quality and seamless installation.
- Steel skylight
The steel skylight offers a stylish and slim design. The steel material ensures solid construction and allows for larger glass dimensions.
- Fire-resistant skylight EI30 – EI60
If you want to install a skylight near adjacent buildings they are often required to be fire-resistant. The Forzon range of fire-resistant skylights has a fire resistance of up to 60 minutes. Structures are designed and custom-made in steel or aluminum with fireproofing up to E160.
- Saw-tooth roofs
Saw-tooth roofs consist of a continuous series of north-facing ridges, allowing sunlight to enter indirectly. The upright design is suited for spaces wanting indirect light while also providing space for solar energy solutions. For the south side of the roof, one can choose to install a photovoltaic panel or PV glass (photovoltaic glass). Designing a saw-tooth roof is an integrated project and requires detailed coordination of steel structures, gutters, roof, skylight, and ventilation.
