Construction and demolition activities generate millions of tons of waste worldwide each year. Holcim aims to recycle at least 10 million tons of construction demolition materials by 2025.
Products
Holcim’s range of products with ECOCycle inside includes cement, concrete, and aggregates for a wide spectrum of applications. All products with ECOCycle inside contain from 10% to 100% recycled construction demolition materials.
Cement with ECOCycle inside contains at least 10% recycled construction demolition materials, closing the loop in construction. Concrete with ECOCycle recycled construction demolition materials inside suits a broad range of applications, from buildings to infrastructure, and is 100% recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. Holcim's global range of circular aggregates contains up to 100% construction demolition materials and can be used in building applications from roads to foundations.
Benefits
Holcim's ECOCycle technology platform enables circular construction at scale, reducing the use of natural resources and promoting a global circular economy.
