Color PVB Interlayers in Pixelium | Vanceva

Vanceva gives architects and designers creative freedom by producing a broad spectrum of colors for laminated glass. The Color PVB Interlayerscolor from Vanceva can be mixed to create over 170000 transparent, translucent, or opaque colors for the desired tone and intensity. Vanceva Color PVB Interlayers were employed for the facade of the Pixelium, located in Strasbourg, France.

The Pixelium is a 54-unit residential building with shops on the ground floor. The monolithic volume of the project helps protect from the noisy environment.

The glass panels with Vanceva interlayers, placed on an attached metal structure, punctuate the facade with shades of blue and expand the facade in a double skin to form an acoustic filter to the north and a thermal filter to the south and west.

Vanceva interlayers are created with light-stable colorants to stay vivid for a long time. In addition, Vanceva Color PVB Interlayers can block up to 99% of damaging UV radiation up to 380 nm, and reduce solar heat gain.
