Starlight is a unique stoneware series from Hasbilit with innovative photoluminescent properties. Starlight tiles are coated with a finish which emits a glowing light through a sustainable process. Thus, Starlight is ideal for commercial applications such as lounges or functional aspects including signage.

Photoluminescent Properties

Starlight tiles use a sustainable energy process to achieve a glow-in-the-dark effect. Individual mosaics store luminous energy when exposed to natural or artificial light which is then gradually released as green, blue, or violet light depending on the selected coating. Through this method, Starlight tiles provide illumination without requiring external power sources such as batteries.

The duration and strength of light emissions varies based on the type of light absorbed and exposure time. Generally, the photoluminescent effect of Starlight tiles last 12 hours maximum.
