More about this product

PoliLam is a designer-driven laminate brand leading the trend of laminate surface aesthetics. Over the last 20 years, the company has realized its own vision of stones, solid color tones, woodgrains, and all types of laminate surfaces, helping design feel young and creative again.

PoliLam presents its Stone Pattern HPL, which is the foundation of PoliLam's designer-driven library.

The story of PoliLam began with the team sourcing stone textures in Carrara, Italy, capturing both the graphics and the tactility. The lineup of 30+ stone patterns each carries a distinct vibe that represents its European origin. Designers can choose from prestigious marbles, artistic terrazzos, contemporary concretes, exotic fossils, and other inspiring patterns that enrich their projects. Among the 30+ designs available, Milano Impressions is the most popular collection, featuring 12 authentic and practical patterns developed with artists in Milan, Italy.

PoliLam invested heavily in embossing plates to fully reproduce the textures of the original stones. By pressing it in an environment of well over 200 °F, the HPL experiences the same process of formation as its counterpart in the mine.

PoliLam's advanced color separation technique allows every layer of tone to be precisely reconstructed. The advanced color-tuning technique also made it possible to create a variety of shades and tones out of one beloved pattern.

Stone Pattern HPL is available for most of PoliLam's specialty surface solutions. Designers tend to match textures with wheat or ivory cores for countertops with extended durability, while being featherweight compared with real stones, such as Capri Performance Tops. The fabrication is also much easier and less wasteful, as the panels would not crack like real stones.

As new technology fortifies the surfaces with wear resistance, heat resistance, and all features that keep themselves intact throughout daily usage, PoliLam clients have the option to take less from nature without compromising look, feel, and performance.
