The competition seeks progressive housing projects to be integrated into the KeObra Calculator, providing estimated budgets, material lists, estimated construction timelines, and the necessary plans to begin construction.

Competition for the Scenic Garden Project, Chapultepec Forest, Mexico City

The "Scenic Garden and Pavilion" ideas competition aims primarily to reorganize and comprehensively recover the area known as the "ecological parking lot," facilitating the integration of the Centro Cultural del Bosque (CCB) into the Chapultepec Forest itself. In other words, the project seeks a design that incorporates reforestation, architecture, and landscape for this territory—currently a parking lot—which must be reintegrated into the urban forest and contribute to strengthening the performing arts ecosystem represented by the CCB. The project includes the design of a Scenic Pavilion as a permanent space featuring non-intrusive, harmonious architecture that blends with the forest environment, creating an interconnection point between the performing arts ecosystem and the visual arts ecosystem toward the Zoo and the Museum of Modern Art.

Ideas competition for the 'Reserva' master plan, Mar Azul site in Villa Gesell

The intervention will take place on properties owned by the CAAITBA (Social Security Fund for Surveyors, Architects, Engineers, and Technicians of the Province of Buenos Aires), located in the town of Mar Azul, in the Municipality of Villa Gesell, commonly known as the "Engineers' Campground."

Call for Ideas: Emergency Health Prototypes

This is a single-stage, open ideas competition. It is jointly organized by the Taller de Desarrollo Urbano (TaDU - Venezuela), the Peruvian Organization of Architecture Students (OPEA - Peru), and Más Ciudad Arq. (Peru). The competition is open to students and recent graduates (thesis students) of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, design, or any related field. Teams of up to 5 people may be formed, with the option to include a maximum of one recent graduate or bachelor (thesis student) who has completed their university coursework within the last two years.

Call for Entries: 3rd Citizen Urban Innovation Competition

As part of the 4th International Forum on Urban Interventions (FIIU 2019)—which hosts the 3rd Placemaking Latin America gathering—the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Cities Lab, Ocupa tu Calle, and Lima Cómo Vamos are launching the 3rd Citizen Urban Innovation Competition. Citizens and social organizations from Peru and Latin America are invited to submit proposals for the design and implementation of urban interventions in two areas of Lima, previously selected by the Organizing Committee.
