Growarq Week - Revit and Lumion

Growarq Week is an event dedicated to architects, engineers, designers, and students looking to revolutionize their design process through a methodology that combines two software programs: Revit and Lumion. The event will take place entirely online from September 11 to September 13, starting at 8:00 PM each day.

BOOMSPDESIGN: Retrofit Panel

BOOMSPDESIGN, an event part of DW!, will take place at one of the city's most iconic landmarks: the Copan Building. On March 13, Thiago Rodrigues, partner and architect at Superlimão, will participate in a thematic panel to discuss the relevance and challenges of retrofit projects. Joining Thiago in the discussion are Beto Cocenza (creator of BOOMSPDESIGN) and Maxime Barkatz, founder of Ilion Partners, a real estate investment fund focused on building revitalization.

Exhibition: The Method / MARQ

The method is an academic proposal for approaching urban themes through fieldwork and critical observation of the city's arteries. Like any method, it consists of a series of steps that, when performed systematically, allow for targeted action that replaces chance or individual convenience.

3D Design and Printing Workshop for Architecture

The 3D Design and Printing for Architecture Workshop is organized by the Doctorate in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Bío-Bío, with the support of CITEC-UBB and FONDECYT 1221730. It is aimed at architects, engineers, designers, students, and/or academics who wish to begin or deepen their knowledge of design, programming, and the robotic execution of additive manufacturing at an architectural scale.

Inaugural Lecture FAU+D Mackenzie

On August 7, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU Mackenzie) will host Zaida Muxí and Josep Maria Montaner for its inaugural lecture. Zaida Muxí, an expert in urbanism, architecture, and gender, will present her latest publication, the book Mujeres, casas y ciudades. Más allá del umbral. Josep Maria Montaner, author of over fifty books, will share insights on his new book during the lecture “Otra Historia, Razón y Orden en la Arquitectura Contemporánea.”

Limapolis 2023: The Right to Housing

After more than two years, Arquitectura PUCP (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú) is pleased to announce the return of the Limapolis International Workshop in 2023. Titled "Right to Housing" and curated by Elizabeth Añaños and José Luis Villanueva, this edition aims to serve as a space for experimentation and reflection on housing and living in Metropolitan Lima.

XII BIAU: Inhabiting the Margins in Lima

The XII Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BIAU)—promoted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA)—continues its traveling program in Peru with the exhibition XII BIAU: Habitar al Margen (Living on the Margins). The exhibition opened this Saturday as part of LIMAPOLIS 2023, an international workshop organized by the Faculty of Architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). It is curated by Elizabeth Añaños—an architect and member of the XII BIAU jury—and José Luis Villanueva—Director of Architectural Studies at PUCP—to foster experimentation and reflection on the Right to Housing and living in Metropolitan Lima.
