Velletri announced an international design competition for the recovery and enhancement of Piazza Cairoli. The competition is carried out by the Municipality of Velletri in collaboration with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape designers and Conservation experts of the city and province of Rome.

Chinatown at Home

An exhibition based on the studies of Los Angeles Chinatown will be on display at 949 Chung King Road from 01/14/2023 till 01/22/2023. The exhibition showcases different series of work done by Chieh-Ting Chuang.
Chinatown is a recognizable architectural style that has been copied in every major city. This strong adaptive trait of Chinatown can not only be transformed into exterior spaces but also can be carried to interior domesticities. While the creation of the original Chinatowns is all based on the autonomy of the builder and owners of the era, this project explores the autonomy using modern technology and media.

BBSD Mentorship Program

Building Black Success Through Design (BBSD) is a FREE 12-week mentorship program offered through the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. This program is for Black high school students (Grades 9 to 12) who are interested in Architecture and Design. The goal of the program is to inspire Black students to pursue excellence and innovation within design industries and academia, enhancing diversity within the field and therefore building Black success through design.

From October 29th to 30th, 2022, the Final Review Meeting, Award Ceremony and Cross-border Forum of the 「Beyond YUE|Jianhu Revival」Shaoxing Jianhu Planning and Design Competition were successfully held at Jianhu in Keqiao. The WAPW Academic Association together with the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology invite you to the next lecture in the "About Architecture" series. Our guests will be architects Wojciech Mazan and Bartosz Kowal from the PROLOG studio.
The studio was founded in 2017 in Wrocław. PROLOG engages with architecture through design projects, research, writing, exhibitions and workshops. PROLOG aims to frame each project from a design and theoretical perspective. PROLOG is thought as a formative period, therefore its focus lies in the exploration, speculations and experiments. PROLOG is scattered around Europe with a base in Wroclaw, Poland.
