The festival aims for a social and cultural renewal of the Historic Center of Villena, which is stigmatized within the city for several reasons. The event has already received several awards.
It is articulated through a variety of workshops, lectures and activities. The collective work and the contact with people are the protagonists. The good atmosphere is always present.
Participants come from all over the world (Great Britain, Turkey, Germany, Lebanon ...) and belong to various disciplines, which gives an intercultural and multidisciplinary vision during the development of activities. They are the engine of the festival: they think, debate, design and develop in situ the work through the experience and guidance of tutors.
The workshops develop low-cost architectures, artistic/socio-cultural/technological interventions, or theoretical and investigation lines. Experimental ways that can become in reference tools.
