The energy consumption of this 120-square-meter single-family home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, located in the town of Sant Feliu de Llobregat (6 miles from Barcelona), is net-zero. It self-regulates its temperature and is built with toxic-free materials. Additionally, its southern orientation helps reduce energy consumption. This is all thanks to bio-architecture and bio-interior design, two disciplines that apply sustainability to construction and interior design to create healthy spaces for both the inhabitants and the environment.
