Text description provided by the architects. The “Imersão” (Immersion) space was designed by architect Janaína Araújo for CASACOR Minas 2023. The project concept was developed based on the needs of the firm's clients, serving as a space for relaxation and inner reconnection. Since the beginning of time, humanity's primary need has been shelter, which we understand today as the home: a space of protection and comfort. As civilizations developed, the demand for rest areas emerged. These spaces were built and modified over time, but always featured water as a key element. Water symbolizes life and healing, elements sought by human beings since the dawn of time.
