Text description provided by the architects. The project is designed over a Frankenstein-like preexistence: a self-built house constructed over two generations, which underwent a renovation to transform it into a single-family home in the early 2000s that was left half-finished due to the last economic crisis. This resulted in a series of interior spaces without scale, shape, or hierarchy—the product of multiple modifications, amputations, and demolitions.
